Countree Food announced that Patrick Jeffrey Sanchez, VP and Global Head of Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory at Dole — one of the world's leading fresh fruit and vegetable brands — visited Heze Sanqing Plant, Countree Food's largest production facility in China, this month.
The visit marks a significant milestone in an ongoing partnership between the two companies, and reflects the depth of collaboration that has developed since Countree Food first became a Dole-approved canned fruit supplier.
Becoming a Dole approved supplier is not a straightforward process. Before Countree Food's canned yellow peach line could be authorized to carry the Dole brand, Heze Sanqing Plant underwent six months of rigorous, multi-stage quality audits — a process designed to verify compliance with Dole's globally recognized food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
The outcome of that process is now visible on shelves across every Sam's Club location in China, where Countree Food's canned yellow peach products are sold under the Dole brand.
